Even after several weeks, almost everything in the world revolves around the Ukraine war. The creators of Chernobylite want to help and are now releasing a charity DLC. You can find out what it’s all about here!
Developer The Farm 51 and Publisher All in! Games today released a special charity DLC centered around Chernobylite. The special thing about it: All proceeds that are collected with the additional content for the sci-fi horror RPG will benefit a charitable cause in the context of the Ukraine war.
Specifically, the Pure Heart Foundation, a charitable non-profit organization that was founded in 2013 and works with underprivileged communities, is to benefit. The focus is on humanitarian aid and youth projects that are intended to promote initiatives, such as the Children for Peace project, in which 507 children from different parts of Ukraine traveled to 35 countries as young peace ambassadors and visited 30 parliaments. In recent years, international partners from Hungary, Estonia and Bulgaria have been supported, sending 5,800 tons of humanitarian and logistical supplies to eastern Ukraine.
Currently, the Pure Heart Foundation is working to distribute the donated humanitarian and medical supplies such as hygiene products, diapers, baby food, phones, sleeping bags and medicine to the communities and victims affected by the war in Ukraine.
The mentioned DLC, which is sold for the benefit of the organization, contains four digital wallpapers in different resolutions, two printable posters in .tif format and a digital thank you card signed by the development team. The additional content will be sold until March 14, 2023 on Steam, the Epic Games Store and GOG.com. Only on Steam is it necessary to own the game itself, otherwise a separate purchase is also possible, since it is not a designated game content. The price is 3.99 dollars.
You can find more details about the specially tailored package here here in a separate blog entry.
