After the successor to Cities: Skylines was announced, the original is now entering the final sprint with one final expansion. Their release date is now set.
Cities: Skylines is still very popular and has long since replaced other city builders. The successor has already been announced and the game is slowly but surely preparing for retirement.
In line with this, Paradox Interactive and developer Colossal Order have now announced the final DLC. The Hotels & Retreats DLC, which is intended to complete the range of content, will therefore be released on May 23rd.
As the name suggests, you can fully devote yourself to entertaining and accommodating visitors and holidaymakers. You start with a small hotel chain and gradually you get more and more special accommodation options from hostels to hotels to luxury resorts. Of course, the right attractions for tourists should not be missing.
At the same time, three new Creator Packs will also be released. Railroads of Japan is dedicated to passenger transportation in Japan. Industrial Evolution offers you 70 new buildings in the corresponding style and Brooklyn & Queens is dedicated to the buildings of the two famous New York districts. With Piano Tunes and 90s Pop Radio, two new radio stations have been added, each of which will sprinkle you with 16 new songs as you build your cities.
But with new content for the game, it’s over until the sequel appears. But at least: The support for Cities: Skylines will be maintained by Colossal Order for the rest of the year. So it could be worse.
