That comes as quite a surprise. Paradox and Colossal Order have announced a remastered edition of the city-builder hit Cities: Skylines, and it’s coming very soon.
Oops, we didn’t really expect that and certainly not the early date. Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order just announced Cities: Skylines – Remastered, an updated edition of the city simulation game designed specifically for the expanded capabilities of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Cities: Skylines – Remastered will be available on February 15, 2023 at a suggested retail price of 39.99 dollars.
Even better, all players who already own Cities: Skylines and its expansions for the PlayStation 4 or for the Xbox One will receive the Remastered Edition for their PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S (as well as the Remastered DLCs up to to expand airports). Revised editions of the other DLCs will be made available in the coming months.
Cities: Skylines – Remastered features a number of improvements optimized for current-gen consoles, including additional buildable tiles to create larger cities and the ability to freely place buildings. This revised edition also improves graphical performance.
