Hello everyone. It’s that time again, a big show about video games is about to be launched, and we will tell you how to make this big live broadcast shock your eyes. This time Gamescom is in 2024, and you can watch its main event here – Gamescom Opening Night Live.
Yes, at least throw those plans for the evening out the window, it’s time to get people talking about the stuff we all love through trailers, interviews and game reveals that they put in an almost horrific effort to do. While there’s a lot going on at Gamescom, as there are at most such events, we’re focusing on providing details on the main shows, which Geoff Keighley does below.
Today (August 20), you can watch the Gamescom Opening Night live above, which is the kickoff to all the action at the show. 7:00pm BST, 8:00pm CEST, 2:00pm ET, 11:00am PTSeriously, just hit play when the time is up and bam, you have about two hours of all video games. There’s also a preview half an hour before the ONL live stream if you want to tune in.
What exactly is on the schedule, you might ask? Well, we know for sure that a slew of games will be showing, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter Wildlands, Dune: Awakening, Civilization VII, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and Indiana Jones and the Grand Circle. Meanwhile, Keighley revealed news of what appears to be a new horror game via a trailer that proclaimed that “the beast is coming,” while Hideo Kojima has re-boarded the Death Stranding 2 cast trailer train in the past few days.
On the other hand, Keighley confirmed that Hollow Knight: Silksong will not be happening, so Silksong players are out of luck. Hey, at least you were warned in advance not to get your hopes up and that anything is possible.
