Yes, after a year of giving you football action with EA Sports FC 24, which even had the chance to be beaten in the European Cup final in rather tragic fashion, it’s time for the hype train for the next entry to exit the station.

Once EA Sports FC is live, you can watch its trailer above this article July 17, before 5pm BST, which is 12pm ET, 9am PT, 6pm CEST and 1am JSTAll you need to do is hit “Play” right away, and a slew of virtual footballs will be launched at your head at an ever-increasing speed, allowing you to yell “Shoot it to my head, son!”.
Alongside the release of the trailer, EA also revealed the cover for the Ultimate Edition of the game. As you’d expect, the cover features a bunch of famous football stars, including Gianluigi Buffon, Jude Bellingham, Aitana Bombati Conca, David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane.

Oh, and they’re put into what looks a lot like a murder mystery, set in an old Engl ish manor house, where even the bed sheets are made of wood – you know, like the Dartmoor level in Hitman 3. There are trophies and other football-related memorabilia scattered around, so one can only assume that another highly successful figure in the football world has been killed by a fatal two-foot challenge from a mysterious assailant.
These five guys are definitely suspects, and they are forced to stay in the house until Benoit Blanc (or possibly his brother Laurent) figures out who did it. My bet is that Zidane is the killer, mostly because he looks a bit like Agent 47.
