Various PlayStation-exclusive games have now appeared on the PC. Spider-Man: Miles Morales and the Uncharted Collection are coming later this year. Now Sony is apparently working on its own launcher for its own titles.
One of Sony’s games, Spider-Man Remastered, was recently released on the PC. You can read in our test how the friendly neighborhood spider is doing on the new platform:

Note on PlayStation launcher
Like our colleagues from VGC messagesthere are some very interesting clues in the Spider-Man files, namely references to PSNAccountLinked
and PSNLinkingEntitlements
. This suggests that the Playstation Network account can also be connected to the games on the PC soon. Of course, the easiest way would be to use an in-house launcher.
What would that mean for PC gamers?
So far, all Sony PC games have appeared on Steam and the Epic Games Store. It is unlikely that this will change now. Although Microsoft or Ubisoft all have their own launchers, most of the games are also available in other stores – Activision Blizzard will also open up more here again and, for example, also offer Modern Warfare 2 on Steam.
It is not yet possible to say which variant Sony will choose – the launcher was made not even officially confirmed.
But if the launcher should come, it may well be that you received Link trophies to your PSN account on PC can. That would be good news for all achievement hunters.
It would also be conceivable Cross-progression like Xbox. This means that you can play the title on your PS5 and just keep playing on your PC without losing your progress. For the time being, of course, this is all pie in the sky.
