Deep Rock Galactic
This is in the biggest update so far
This is what the author thinks: Deep Rock Galactic has everything I could want in a good co-op shooter. Lots of varied levels, high replayability, fun core gameplay. In addition, Ghost Ship Games uses a high-performance low-poly style, but it looks really pretty thanks to the atmospheric lighting and extremely cool art design!
But my personal favorite aspect is the passionate community. In a few games I get along so well without voice chat, only with the help of pings and emotes (Did I hear a rock and stone?). You can just feel that Deep Rock is not bypassing the community, but is being developed directly into the heart of the player.
As soon as my colleague Dimi lets me play something else than just Hunt Showdown, I’ll pay Deep Rock Galactic a visit again. And experience has shown that the following weeks are all about the sympathetic mine dwarfs.
