A funny clip on CoD Cold War is currently curious on the Internet, which provides further topics of conversation. The streamer tyler_lamski shared on reddit how you can decimate an entire team at the start of the round. The clip was also shared on Twitter and amazed the community.
In the clip we see Tyler starting a round of domination on the “Crossroads” map. In his hand he holds the M79 grenade launcher, with which he aims just over the military building in the middle during the countdown. After the countdown was over, he fired a grenade directly into the enemy’s spawn and scored a five-fold kill:

How does the trick work?
First of all, you need the right weapon to do the trick. A normal grenade would not work here because the detonation time would be too long. The M79 grenade launcher is unlocked from level 52 and can be found in the “Special” section under the secondary weapons.
If you are lucky enough to play on the “Crossroads” map, you still have to spawn on the right side in order to hit the corner perfectly. Basically, however, the trick should be reproducible from both sides, since there is no barrier to the so-called steep fire.
You also need luck with your exact spawn point, as each team member is placed separately on the map. If you are now afraid of being hit yourself, you should equip the extra “fragmentation vest”, which greatly reduces enemy explosive damage.
The developers have not yet commented on the trick. Just recently, however, Activision Blizzard released a list of issues they are working on:

It remains to be seen whether the option of using a grenade launcher to kill the opposing team at the beginning of a round will also be on the list.
