The release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is getting closer and by the end of October players are rushing to the battlefields of the new shooter everywhere. In multiplayer, you will also have the opportunity to fight from the 3rd person perspective in certain game modes. If you’ve already tried it in the open beta, you can expect fundamental changes.
Here we explain how the feature should work in the finished game. Our editor Steffi also explains why she is particularly looking forward to it:

This is how 3rd person changes
Among other things, specialized in Call of Duty Charlie Intel website has in an official Instagram-Post immediately discovered several significant changes planned for the 3rd person view.
Less switching to first-person view: In the beta, aiming would automatically switch to first-person view instead of hip-firing. The change occurred there, no matter what sight the gun used. In the finished game you now only change the perspective if your visor has at least 4x magnification. So you can also take advantage of the 3rd person perspective with holo, red dot sights and similar devices.
The trailer for the new Gunsmith also shows how extensively you can customize the weapons in Modern Warfare, not just with sights:

Better overview: In the beta, the FOV slider, which determines your field of view, was also limited to 90 degrees. In the Instagram post, however, it is now advertised that this Field of view increased up to 120 degrees
