The references to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – Remastered are increasing day by day. The rumor mill has been bubbling for months, now Dataminer found tangible pictures of a possible remaster in the code of the new update. But that's not all: The remaster is due to be released on Monday, March 30, 2020! But with restrictions.
Who are the Leaker? The two Leaker Okami and TheGamingRevolution were already right with many predictions about upcoming CoD developments. For example, their predictions for the Warzone Battle Royale hit the bull's eye. Now both agree: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is coming on Monday.
I just spoke to @ Okami13_, and according to him, Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered is releasing next Monday on the 30th of March!

However, that relates exclusively on the campaign. According to TheGamingRevolution, Infinity Ward will not include the multiplayer in the remaster package. Instead, they prefer to integrate the old maps into the current Modern Warfare to bring the communities together. For example, classic maps such as Rust, Vacant and Crash are used.
Other alleged leaks
Over the weeks, there was various evidence that points to Modern Warfare 2: Remastered.
- The remaster is said to be part of a shop bundle Oil rig pack will.
- In South Korea, there was an age rating of 18 for a remaster of Modern Warfare 2.
- Dataminer found concrete pictures of the remaster in the code of the new update.
- The colleagues from Mein-MMO have worked out that there should even be a remaster for Modern Warfare 3.
Of course, these are all just indications that you should classify as a rumor until the official announcement. We recently saw at GTA 6 that such leaks can also be quite wrong. In the case of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, however, the revelations of the past few weeks and months turned out to be quite correct. Let's wait for Monday.
