The latest Call of Duty is highly controversial at release. While Modern Warfare 2 performs well in tests, many fans are disappointed – partly due to the lack of content such as hardcore mode. But other popular modes from previous CoD offshoots are not yet included in the game.
The Insider The Ghost of Hope
now claims that there will still be a few game modes in Modern Warfare 2, nine to be precise. We all know them from previous CoD games.

It should be about these game modes
Hope splits Twitter the names of the supposedly planned modes, but does not specify when these should appear. The insider has often been right in the past, but of course a certain amount of skepticism is still appropriate, since this is not official information. We summarize the modes mentioned by Hope for you:
- Reinforce: There are three flags on the map that two teams are fighting over. If you bite the dust, your colleagues can revive you with a captured flag. The game is over when a team has captured all of the flags or when a team is defeated.
- Drop Zone: The teams fight for a moving target. If your team holds the objective for a certain amount of time, you will get useful package drops. You win when your team reaches the point limit or time runs out.
- Gun Game: You fight against each other without teams, with every kill you get a new weapon. The first person to get a kill with all weapons available in the mode wins.
- Infected: One player is infected and must infect their opponents while everyone else hides, runs, or fights. The main thing is that they survive until the time is up.

- Uplink: You have to bring a drone to the uplink station near the spawn point of your opponents. If you succeed, you get ten points. The game ends when one team has 20 points or time runs out.
- Cranked: Similar to Team Deathmatch, but after a kill you get a useful bonus. Your movements as well as reload and ADS time will be significantly accelerated. However, if you don’t get a kill or assist in the next 30 seconds, you’ll explode.
- Cyber Attack: Two teams fight over an EMP device that can be used to destroy the opposing data center. There are no respawns, but your colleagues can revive you. The first team to win five rounds wins the game.
- Team Defender: A player possesses a flag that earns their team twice as many points per kill. Killing the flag holder allows the opposing team to claim the flag.
- Grind: Works similar to Kill Confirmed, but you still need to drop collected tokens from your killed enemies in one of two specific locations to score.

The fact that the game modes will possibly be integrated into the game over the next two years fits Dimi’s analysis of how games are constantly changing:
