Who is Alex believed dead?
Alex, also known as Echo 3-1, was one of three playable protagonists in the main story of CoD: Modern Warfare. On his – apparently – last mission he accompanied Commander Farah Karim from the Urzikstan Liberation Force.
They tried to destroy a factory that contained gas. The remote detonator was damaged in a fight so Farah wanted to manually detonate it. Alex convinced her to do the job. So far, we believed that he died in the plant explosion, but apparently he survived the whole thing.
Many CoD fans react enthusiastically to the announcement under the tweet. Many are not only happy about Alex's return, but also about that realistic representation of war injuries.
Infinity Ward's Studio Narrative Director Taylor Kurosaki responded to comments with a photo of a war veteran and a simple "Yup." Thanks to modern prosthetic technology, it is no longer uncommon for soldiers with handicaps to return to work.

Season 3 brings a total of 4 new operators
Are on the teaser picture a total of four operators recognizable: Alex, Ghost, the previously leaked Ronin and an as yet unknown woman. Warzone is said to get a Quads mode in Season 3, in which several groups of 4 compete against each other and the last surviving team wins. CoD: Modern Warfare Season 3: When to start and what we know so far
The return of Alex had already been announced by a Dataminer, who also had the Battle Royale and CoD: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered was right. The name Ronin for another new operator also appears in his leak. In all likelihood, he's the soldier to Alex's left.
Reddit users claim to have found that he is embodied by Tu Lam, who is a well-known US veteran and Youtuber in real life. An Instagram post by Tu Lam (named @ronintactics) seems to confirm this.
The problems that cheaters currently cause in Warzone are less pleasing than the novelties. In the meantime, harsh criticism has also come from professional players, some of whom even call the Battle Royale "currently unplayable".
