So far, many players have lost their fun in a solo round of Call of Duty: Warzone. The reason is pretty big and goes by the name of »Bertha« – because the truck is so heavily armored that many players prefer to get behind the wheel and knock over their opponents instead of a fair exchange of fire.
The benefits were too tempting
What was the problem with the truck? Especially at the beginning of a round you do not have the best equipment for the direct duel. A vehicle comes in very handy here, with which you can quickly and easily kill your opponents with a targeted ram blow.
You didn’t really have to worry about your own health. Because the trucks are extremely difficult to destroy. Without well-placed explosives or heavy artillery like the rocket launcher, you can hardly beat the big trucks.

This is finally over: Because with the latest update, the developer Raven Software announces that the problem has been addressed. More specifically, the spawn rate was simply decreased.
Instead of the previous 16 to 20 trucks, there will now only be five trucks available for each lap. This is to avoid scenes in the last moves of a game in which the surviving players no longer dare to leave their Berthas.
Incidentally, the reduction should not make the trucks obsolete – on the contrary: like the developers in den Patch Notes
What do the players think about the change?
The community has been impressed by the change so far. On Reddit there is already a lively exchange and praise for the developers’ decision.
Der User theskittz emphasizes that some bizarre scenes could be observed before the patch:
“One of the biggest problems was that she [die anderen Spieler] simply drove to an undamaged one with her old broken Bertha and swapped it quickly. “
The_Larger_Fish especially hopes for improvements for the last minutes of the game, which have so far been rather unfair for him:
“I spent most of the mid-game blowing up three or even five Berthas and was surrounded by them in the final circle.”
The upgrading of the truck hoped for by the developers is also highlighted by the user Lma0-Zedong:
“Whoever gets a Bertha will have a much bigger advantage in solos.”
The passionate CoD Warzone community is happy to share their opinion on the state of the game very directly. The start of the recently launched Season 3 was also extremely bumpy at first, before the players finally found their liking in Verdansk ’84. Here you can read the whole story again:
