However, it is already known that Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be bundled toge ther with the start of Season 3 on the consoles. Weapons: Which ones are new?
What would a Warzone and Vanguard season be without new weapons? For this reason, there are supplies in the armory again in Season 3. As in Season 2, there are three new guns and a new melee weapon. The details:
- M1916: A Semi-Automatic Rifle (DMR) available at the start of the season.
- Nikita AVT: A new assault rifle, which also accompanies the start of the season.
- Sledgehammer: A new melee weapon that will be implemented throughout the season.
- H5 Blixen: At mid-season, this new MP will be added and unlocked either through a challenge or through purchase in the shop.
Map: What is changing on Caldera?
After the first changes to Caldera with Season 2, there will also be a few new features on the Warzone Pacific map with Season 3. With the Dig Site (excavation site), for example, there is a completely new area, while other areas are being revised a bit.
Dig Site: The new excavation site lies between the mines and ruins and lets you rob countless tents. In addition, you are guaranteed to stumble across one or the other skeleton there, the origin of which you should perhaps not worry too much about.
Peak: The volcano peak changes quite obviously, because here the developers have strengthened the buildings and also repainted them visually.
Runway: This location is getting some new buildings and jungle removal, which should make the area less cluttered overall.
Lagoon: The storm surge on Caldera ensures that more ships have docked here. There is also another way to the lighthouse.
Gameplay: What gameplay innovations are coming?
With the coming season there will be a new Gulag. The new zone named hold is a symmetrical arena in the middle of a stranded ship. The center space is quite open while there are some covers on the sides.
With the already confirmed mid-season update, there should also be some changes on Rebirth Island. However, there are no details on this yet.
This also applies to the subterranean Calderas, which opens up as the season progresses. There, according to the developers, some secrets should be lurking for you. There is not much more than a first teaser at the moment:
