With these events we say goodbye to Verdansk

Operation Flashback

When? This limited mode started on November 18th and runs through December 8th.

What is happening? In this mode, the developers bring back numerous memories of earlier times. And that’s pretty messy and just a little bit unbalanced. Because in the course of this mode, almost all events and available items from the last two years of Warzone are returning. What does that look like in concrete terms? Each time a new gas circuit is started, a new event begins, which makes the course of the Battle Royale game very dynamic and absolutely unpredictable.

You can earn two limited rewards for your participation:

  • An emblem of the event
  • An animated calling card when you win a match

Secrets of the Pacific

When? The second event to mark Verdansk farewell started on November 24th – with an intermittent technical hiccup. After the event has been deactivated for a short time, it will be available again and players can participate until December 8th, 2021.

What is happening? This event is designed to prepare you for the launch of Caldera, the new Pacific map. So you will learn more about the history of the new location. Little by little, information about the map ends up in Warzone, which you have to save. In these challenges you have to protect artifacts from caldera, for example – if you win, you will get information about the new important places on the map.

Our guide will help you in the search for the secret locations, with which you can easily earn a new skin for the StG44 from Call of Duty: Vanguard:

The last hours of Verdansk

When? The event Last Hours of Verdansk starts on December 6, 2021 at 7 p.m. Europe time and runs for around 24 hours.

What is happening? A new playlist with the same name belongs to the event. Here you have to collect secret information and at the end reach a bunker below the city. If you manage to achieve a victory, you will not only get an airplane skin and a limited calling card, but also a short teaser trailer with excerpts from the new Pacific map:

The destruction of Verdansk

When? On November 30th, the end of Verdansk was initiated with an in-game countdown that expires on December 8th, 2021.

What is happening? This time Verdansk will not survive its destruction. How exactly the map will be blown up is not yet clear – we’ve had a nuclear explosion before. The developers promise, however, that it will a spectacular crash will.

We will of course keep you up to date as soon as new information is opened! Until then, you can read in our big test of CoD Vanguard what the new campaign, multiplayer and zombie co-op have to offer you:
