In 1992, the Crysis of its generation was released: a graphics cracker that enchanted scores of gamers with its beautiful visuals and made PCs sweat. We are of course talking about the Comanche helicopter simulation, which used innovative voxel graphics to create 3D landscapes that h ad never been seen before. GameStar author Paul Kautz filmed the game’s automatic intro for his big background report on Comanche.
