The community has already created the first comparison videos in which they use the ones shown in the trailer Compares remaster scenes with the original maps from Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3
The graphic jump in the video
The YouTuber Cycu1 compares three of the reissued cards with their original in his video: Vaparaiso and Arica Harbor from Bad Company 2 and Caspian Border from BF 3. You can best see how good the cards look in the latest version of the Frostbite engine directly to:

Valparaiso: The visual differences are the smallest here. However, this may also be due to the lack of images in the BF2042 version. The remake of the map will definitely offer greatly improved textures, which can be seen particularly well on the mountains and buildings.
Arica Harbor: Here, too, the textures on the environment are much more detailed. For this purpose, ray tracing reflections can be seen in the video based on the puddles. A second comparison video by the YouTuber shows this particularly clearly from 1:06 in the video. Where only a stony ground can be seen in the original, deep vehicle tracks can be seen in the remake, in which reflective puddles have also formed:

Caspian Border: One of the largest and most popular maps of the third part of the series can convince with significantly denser vegetation and more realistic lighting. But the destruction of the radio tower, which was already impressive in the original, looks a bit more opulent in the new engine.
In addition to these three maps, Battle of the Bulde and El Alamein (both from BF 1942) as well as Noshahr Canals (BF 3) will find their way into Battlefield 2042 – but they have not yet been seen.
