What can become of a little April Fool's joke! Conan Chop Chop was so well received in the community that Funcom and Mighty Kingdom managed to get through to realizing the cute action role-playing game. However, expectations for the title have risen ever since, which now leads to a further delay.
Because the mix of Hack'n'Slash and Rogue-Lite should have been available in September last year. Due to the goals of the game, this date could no longer be kept, but the last communicated release date on February 25, 2020 does not remain.
In a further press release, a new postponement to the second quarter of 2020 was communicated without having given a specific date. "We're on the home stretch. The extra time allows us to optimize the game for online multiplayer and refine it in a few places. We want to get the last few chops right," said Philip Mayes, CEO of Mighty Kingdom, the step.
Conan Chop Chop is also planned for PC, Ps4, Xbox One and Switch.
Funcom has now actually announced the former April Fool's Day Conan Chop Chop as a 2D action RPG.
