Conan Exiles is getting a major update, the date of which has now been set and to celebrate the day it is temporarily playable for free on Steam and Xbox.
The Age of Sorcery in Conan Exiles begins September 1: In Age of Sorcery, players become corrupted wizards for the first time. To celebrate the massive free update, Conan Exiles will be free to play on Steam September 1st-8th and on Xbox September 8th-11th. Age of Sorcery is the first season in the new model for Conan Exiles. Each season has its own theme, free content and features, and the paid Battle Pass.
Age of Sorcery allows players to sacrifice a portion of their life force to control dark forces. In addition to sorcery, a new attribute and perk system will also be introduced. This gives players more freedom in leveling their characters by choosing between two perks upon reaching certain milestones. Some attributes can also be corrupted to gain special benefits.
A new building interface and a creative mode should also make building faster and easier than ever. There are minion improvements, new wilderness hazards, and a Battle Pass and Store full of cosmetics.
With the major 3.0 update called Age of Sorcery, magic has entered Conan Exiles and expanded the gameplay. Players can cast spells and summon creatures by sacrificing their life force thanks to the new abilities.
