Here are all the first new Disney+ releases confirmed for November 2024. Releases that pay tribute to two absolute legends with new documentaries.
As an exception, a few more films and series can be expected from the new Disney+ releases from October 2025. The important innovations include the live-action adaptation of “The Little Mermaid”, which caused a lot of excitement, the documentary about Bruce Springsteen or even part 2 of the fifth season of Miraculous: The Adventures of Ladybug and Cat Noir for the little ones. A program that doesn’t break any building blocks, but at least there are exits.
Cinema releases of Disney+ films confirmed for November 2024
The confirmed Disney+ releases for November 2024 roll out the red carpet for two true music legends in two different styles. First of all, from November 1, 2024, the video streaming platform will celebrate the genius of John Williams with the documentary soberly titled “Music by John Williams”.
A feature film by Laurent Bouzereau, who was already responsible for the documentary “Eternal Heroes: Indiana Jones & Harris on Ford”, available on Disney+, and offers a look back at the life and career of one of the greatest musicians of all time. To further highlight John Williams, we will be conducting interviews with those who worked with him such as Steven Spielberg, Alan Silvestri, Ron Howard, Kathleen Kennedy, Anne-Sophie Mutter…
The other legend that is the subject of a documentary is a group: The Beatles. Martin Scorsese, who has released masterpieces like John Williams but behind the camera, will release Beatle ’64 exclusively on Disney+ on November 29, 2024. “The film, which includes never-before-seen footage of the four musicians and the hordes of fans who fueled their rise, allows us to witness the exact moment when The Beatles became the greatest band of all time.”.

Confirmed series releases for November 2024
As for the Disney+ series confirmed in November 2024, we only have one certainty: the arrival of the season of The old man. In this television show based on the novel by Thomas Perry, Dan Chase is played by Jeff Bridges (The Big Lebowski), a former CIA agent on the run must confront his past and avoid passing on the weapon while an assassin attempts to wipe him off the map. Season 2 of “The Old Man,” whose first two episodes will be released online on Disney+ on November 6, 2024, once again follows Dan Chase, who must save his daughter Emily.
