If you're looking for free gaming fodder for the rest of your vacation, you can currently secure a real top title for free with Control. However, you have to be quick!
Like every year, the mystery game campaign is currently running in the Epic Games Store. Around the holidays there is a new full PC version available for free every day, although it is not announced in advance which title it will be. Yesterday, Christmas Day, a real top title started the campaign.
This refers to the action game Control from Remedy Entertainment, released in 2019. The third-person shooter received excellent reviews in its release year and is considered one of Remedy's best games, which also scored points with other major series such as Alan Wake or Max Payne. In short: Free, the title is definitely worth a lookyou shouldn't have played this one yet.
However, you have to be quick, because Control will be replaced by the next offer in the campaign on Boxing Day today at 5:00 p.m. German time. So far, the free releases within the Epic Games Store campaign are as follows:
