Game news Control Ultimate Edition versions for PS5 and Xbox Series
After a simultaneous release on August 27, 2019 on PC (Epic Games Store), PS4 and Xbox One and a year later on Steam as the Ultimate Edition, the full version of the title by Remedy was released on September 10th on PS4 and Xbox One and then ends October on Switch thanks to the cloud. We still missed the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions that are finally getting their release date.
The Ultimate Edition of Control includes two expansions: The Foundation and AWE. You can also rely on the additions to the original game, such as Photo Mode and Expedition Mode, to help you face new challenges. We would like to remind you that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the Ultimate Edition offer an update at no additional cost for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Control Ultimate Edition will be released digitally on February 2, 2021 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The physical format will be available from March 2nd. A new trailer recorded on PlayStation 5 shows the game’s 60fps game mode and the game’s graphics mode with ray tracing enabled (30fps).
As a reminder, Control passed the milestone of two million copies earlier this month. Remedy’s TPS had the highest monthly sales in November 2020, partly due to promotions in online stores.
