Core Keeper to dabble in Christmas celebrations December 13 to January 6 In a free update of the sandbox adventure game. To celebrate the holidays, players will participate in a series of festive activities with friends to prepare for the next month.

Check out the trailer for Core Keeper here.

Core Keeper is a sandbox adventure game with cute pixel art style for 1 to 8 players. If you’re a fan of Stardew Valley mines and like an exciting co-op experience where you can grind with friends and catch bugs (Animal Crossing is a personal favorite) and go-karts, then Core Keeper is well worth checking out with your friends.

This festive season, Core Keeper players will be able to craft festive furniture, turn their base into a Christmas Grotto, and even decorate themselves with holiday-themed cosmetics and accessories to really get in the holiday spirit. That’s not all, however, the ability to build snowmen, build Christmas trees, and even have snowball fights with friends has been added to the game.

There will also be the festive variants that players are used to seeing, as well as seasonal merchants who we can imagine will sell some Christmas items. Finally, to ring in the New Year, Core Keeper will also host an in-game fireworks display during the limited-time event.

“Core Keeper’s Christmas event is our biggest seasonal event yet, and players can discover tons of festive content throughout the holiday season,” said Fredrik Präntare, CEO and Creative Director of Pugstorm. “We hope our community enjoys the Christmas event and look forward to more exciting content in 2023.”

Core Keeper is currently in Early Access on Steam, and if you haven’t checked it out, be sure to check out Core Keeper’s latest free update, which introduces a ton of new features to the game.
