According to a report from Wabetainfo, a site specializing in WhatsApp, the Messenger has limited the duration of Indian status videos. From now on, users can only use videos up to 15 seconds as status. The regulation currently only affects India, but cannot rule out its extension to other countries. It is unclear whether there will be further restrictions. The Messenger service may limit the general upload size of files to reduce overall traffic.
