Who is open on Monday and who is not
Although the corona crisis initially eased, the Apple store is still closed, and MediaMarkt is considering reopening. Netzwelt will tell you where you can shop again from Monday, April 20, and where you are closed.
Due to the corona crisis, many shops had to be closed. Therefore, the supply of new technology products becomes more and more difficult. Amazon, MediaMarkt, Saturn and Co. are still delivering corresponding products, but sometimes you have to accept longer delivery times. Anyone who has tried to use the Fire TV Stick in the past few days knows what we are talking about. But now the hope is getting bigger.
The Federal Government and the Federal Prime Ministers have decided to relax strict measures against the spread of coronavirus. From Monday, April 20th, no matter what goods are offered, retail trade may be reopened. However, this rule only applies to shops with a maximum sales area of 800 square meters.
"The retail space of the store does not exceed 800 square meters. Regardless of the retail space, car dealers, bicycle dealers and bookstores can open again. They must comply with hygiene regulations, control access and avoid queues.

So, will the Apple Store, MediaMarkt and Co. be open again next week? We asked the company and will tell you.
Apple Store
Apple listed 15 stores in Germany on its homepage. The company confirmed to Netzwelt that these will be closed next week. Because Apple's store greatly exceeds 800 square meters. For example, according to media reports, the sales area of the Apple Store on Jungfernstieg in Hamburg is 2,000 square meters, and the store on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin is 5,000 square meters.
But for Apple fans, there is still hope: Apple's small authorized retailer can open next week. You can find the Apple authorized retailer nearest you on the Apple homepage. You can also find contact information here. It is best to check whether the dealer opens the door by telephone in advance.
