Great news for the simracer lovers with Assetto Corsa in the first place of the name.
Did you want a day-night cycle? A dynamic meteor?
This is possible with SOL 2.1 and CSP (Custom Shader Patch).
In two words:
SOL manages the seasons, the day / night cycle, the weather, etc.
CSP (Custom Shader Patch) manages an incredible list of things like smoke, dust, track lighting at night, AO (Ambient Occlusion) so shadows and light scattering, tire realism, etc.
The two uses are inseparable and the result is incredible !
The rain is here! Yes the rain is here!
We’re no longer a level where three drops are shown on the windshield, or we had to download a special “wet” track to get a “wet” aspect …
No we are a much higher level!
These are real water droplets in 3D that we see falling when we are outside the cockpit. This water is distributed along the route. The visual aspect is enhanced by the unevenness of the route, which gradually fill with water. Really nice !
The lights, the clouds, the sound of the wind, the shadows of the vegetation, in short, a whole development that reinforces the immersion of the player.
I am pleased to be able to offer you a detailed tutorial
