Team Ninja launches its final demo Crouching Dragon: Fallen Dynasty, the studio’s follow-up to the Nioh series. Like Nioh, Crouching Dragon is a challenging action RPG with layered mechanics and a fantasy of late Han China that is very different from Nioh’s Japan.
However, unlike Nioh, Crouching Dragon is a more accessible game, and the developers have made significant strides in making it the most accessible Souls-like game, even compared to Elden Ring is also like this.
Crouching Dragon’s final demo was live-streamed on PC via the Steam/Windows store, as well as PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.You must submit by Monday, March 27 12am PT, 3am ET, 8am UK play it. After this date, you will not be able to access or download the demo.
Those of you who played the first demo will be happy to know that the final demo contains new content. Players will have access to the Disaster Village quest in Chapter 1, and the Second Hero in Chapter 2.
If you successfully complete both quests, you can get the Crouching Dragon Helmet in the full game, provided you purchased it on the same platform. The demo requires an internet connection to play, but you don’t need a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold membership.
The demo also supports multiplayer, so you’ll be able to team up with other players–but only on the same series of platforms. This also applies to full games that don’t support cross-network play.
