Paradox Interactive continues to not ignore Crusader Kings III and is heading into the next year of content, which will bring two major expansions. It starts in March!
The medieval strategy game Crusader Kings III is getting a third chapter from Paradox Interactive. This Chapter III includes two expansions, including the long-awaited major Byzantium expansion. There is also an event pack and a free cosmetic clothing add-on for fans of the game. The latter can now be downloaded by anyone who purchases the new Expansion Pass in advance.
The Couture of the Capets content is the cosmetic pack, available immediately after purchase, that introduces new fashions and styles influenced by the French royal culture of the High Middle Ages of the 13th century.
The first major expansion is called “Legends of the Dead” and lets you consolidate the power of your race over centuries in the person of a legendary personality, because you have to secure your legacy even after death. You channel your dynastic legend through court chroniclers and use their growing reputation to build a lasting material legacy. However, the Black Death also stands in your way. This add-on will be published on March 4th and includes new activities, events and features related to the topic, all of which will be announced in detail.
The Byzantium expansion mentioned is called “Road to Power” and represents the second major add-on. Here you react from Constantinople with a new administration system and experience various Byzantine events and topics.
Chapter 3 is rounded off by “Wandering Nobles,” which builds on the travel system introduced with “Tours & Tournaments.” The Event Pack brings with it a new lifestyle of travel as well as new ways and reasons for traveling.
With “Legends of the Dead” Crusader Kings III receives its next chapter.
