In a Vogue-appropriate photo shoot, Kojima took to Twitter to share some photos of him posing with some of the new Cryptobiosis plushies, which will be released at the Tokyo Game Show later this month.

Death Stranding came to PC Game Pass earlier this month… have you tried it?

Details about the price of the plush toys, or whether they will be available online during and after the Tokyo Game Show, have yet to be announced. What we do know, however, is that they’re pretty fascinating, even if they’re oddly small life forms used to replenish blood.

Judging from the photos shared by Kojima, the plush toy is available in two sizes. One is small enough to prop up on a shelf or cuddle to sleep, while the other is big enough to make the perfect cushion, as Kojima shows. Plush toys are also displayed next to the Danboard figurines for size reference!

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen some disturbingly cute Death Stranding plushies, late last year, the Kojima Productions store unveiled a tiny but adorable Cryptobiotes doll mascot.

If you can’t make it to the Tokyo Game Show, the mascot can still be purchased through the online store. It’s the size of a key ring, but hopefully we’ll see a brand new, bigger plush coming online soon too!

What do you think of the new Cryptobiosis plush? Personally, I absolutely love anything pink and round and cute (looking at you, Kirby), but I’m not sure I need more stuffed animals right now. Let us know if you grab one, though!
