Marvel fans often ask themselves: When will the X-Men finally come to the MCU? They have long since arrived: in the form of Ms. Marvel, Namor, Beast and of course Professor death to die.
Looking back, the now 83-year-old actor obviously didn’t have a particularly good time. Guest on the podcast Happy Sad Confused he explains why he used his experience while filming frustrating and disappointing
designated.
Alone in the multiverse madness
Sir Patrick Stewart stood for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse alone and isolated from other performers in front of the camera – for example without Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen. In today’s film and TV industry, it’s not necessarily uncommon for actors to never meet, even though they appear in scenes together.
I was alone. In the big scene, all the main actors had to go through this experience. Each performance was filmed individually. It was frustrating and disappointing. But that’s just how it was. The last few years have been a challenge.

According to Stewart, this has become worse due to the corona pandemic. In order to minimize the risk of infection, performances are often filmed individually so that days of isolation are not necessary too often. Before Corona, such measures were only taken when there were scheduling problems.
The chances for Professor X in Deadpool 3 are good
Still, we probably haven’t seen the last of Patrick Stewart as Professor X. Deadpool 3 will be released in cinemas on July 26, 2024, and according to numerous leaks and rumors, not only Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine. Stewart answers the specific question in the podcast promisingly: I am convinced, that [Professor X] is still out there somewhere.
Will Sir Patrick Stewart die his fifth and perhaps final screen death as Professor X in Deadpool 3? Ryan Reynolds could debut as Wade Wilson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe the foundation for the next generation of X-Men be placed. But maybe only with Avengers 5 and 6, which represent the finale of the multiverse saga.
