Today is the streaming service Netflix good and bad news for fantasy fans ready: While finally the start date for the highly anticipated 2nd season of “The Witcher” with Henry Cavill became known as a monster hunter, Netflix is presenting its fantasy show, which only started in 2020 “Cursed – The Chosen One“on again after only one season (via Deadline).
The series about the young Nimue and King Arthur obviously did not meet with enough approval from the Netflix audience. As Deadline reports, the contracts of the “Cursed” actors were “Dead girls don’t lie“-Star Katherine Langford disbanded.
“Cursed” Season 1 launched on Netflix on July 17, 2020 and is based on an illustrated novel by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler. Netflix has not commented on the future of the series since it was released a year ago, which is not a good sign. “Cursed” is now canceled.
