Cut it all out, here’s the indie game of the year, and it’s French

The principle is very simple: find every day of the week an unusual or humorous image in the form of an artwork, GIF or video related to the video game, high-tech or geek sphere that is in the news or turns out to be perfect be timeless.

Here is duck paths (or “Duck Trails” according to a certain Google trad’), produced by a duo of young Frenchmen Laurent Matthias etc Justin Le Louedec.

The pitch of the game is simple: “Be a duck trying to save as many of her ducklings as possible when everyone wants to make sausage!“

Why is it a promising video game work? Just check out this first gameplay trailer (by enabling the sound, very important) to quickly become aware of its overwhelming potential. Yes, definitely possible, this “cruel and cute” mix hits the mark.

But to earn GOTY Indie of the Year status a release date has to come up, count on us to keep you posted.
