The press agency Reuters committed to contacting CD Projekt RED to ask if Microsoft also intended to withdraw Cyberpunk 2077 from the Xbox games in March, preventing Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S players who have not already done so can purchase a digital version of the game. On its website, Reuters published the answer from Adam Kicinski: the CEO of the Polish studio:
We are not currently in discussions with Microsoft on this matter.
It is of course not entirely impossible that Microsoft may decide to make the game temporarily unavailable. One way or another, the Cyberpunk 2077 affair is likely to take more turns in the coming weeks and months.
