A large chunk of gamers will keep this story in their throats for a long time, as the studio’s promises – although it seemed to change after the game’s chaotic start-up – will take a tremendous amount of time to come true. In addition, CD Projekt is no longer broken with the new revelations surrounding the successor to Cyberpunk 2077.

2022, redemption for Cyberpunk 2077?

CD Projekt had given the feeling of having made itself clear on the subject: Between the launch of version 1.3 and the end of 2021 / beginning of 2022, free DLC and many other enhancements should be added to the game, but that’s not the case according to the latest roadmap visual released by the studio yesterday.

The studio went astray in the thought of making these changes without their hands in their pockets and many gamers noticed the deception. According to the new visual, Cyberpunk 2077 will only have a few hotfixes and patches to chew on, when it comes to major updates and DLC it will be a matter of patience (over and over again).

As mentioned in the image published by CD Projekt, The next updates, improvements, and other free DLCs are expected in the next year, and it looks like their rollout will extend beyond the first quarter of 2022, as measured by the visual’s progress bar.

At the moment, the studio has not yet given a reason for this umpteenth shift around the game. The year 2022 promises to be more than busy for the CD Projekt teams who are currently working hard to get Cyberpunk 2077 on the right track.. We just have to patiently try and hope that next year will be the end of the crisis for the studio.
