Thanks to the fans who worked hard for their favorite game, Cyberpunk 2077 will be even more beautiful than ever. We often say that our modders have talent. The funny thing is that some will completely optimize the work of the developers, which is the case here.
The story of Cyberpunk 2077 is incredible. Announced many years before release, the studio pushes everything until everything explodes when it’s time to release the game. Full of bugs, unplayable on old generation consoles, difficult on newer consoles, it’s quite a nightmare.
After a review bombing campaign and subsequent refunds worth thousands of dollars, the studio took the bull by the horns and fixed all versions. Over the years, several major updates will follow one another until all ports of the game are perfectly playable. Three years after its release, Update 2.0 arrives, changing absolutely EVERYTHING.
The studio may drop Cyberpunk 2077, but not the community
Graphic changes at all levels, reworking of the user interface and certain game mechanics – Cyberpunk 2077 is reborn from its ashes. Added to this is a DLC, Phantom Liberty, which is particularly successful and praised by both critics and the majority of players. Some new updates will follow later, but for now it’s over. CD Projekt is working on Cyberpunk 2, The Witcher 4 and its other projects, 2077 is behind it.
Behind but not dead yet, as it is now the fans who are doing their part to build it up by tweaking the game further. Mods are already plentiful for Cyberpunk, but one of the latest enhances the visual experience even further.
A free mod makes the game even better than ever
The game is very beautiful from the start and really generous in terms of options and optimization. It even uses some cutting edge technologies like path tracing, which is basically high end ray tracing.
A technology that improves everything at the cost of some resources and stability that is not always at the forefront. Even though Cyberpunk 2077 is a pretty good student out of nowhere and takes full advantage of Path Tracing, it is not without small glitches here and there.
Fortunately, the modding community has talent, lots of talent. A certain CyanideX, well known among mod users, has developed a mod that fixes the few path tracing bugs, making it much more efficient, but as a bonus also adds new high-resolution textures. If Cyberpunk 2077 is already one of the most beautiful games of its generation, this new mod is 100% free and downloadable from Nexus Modsit sublimates even further. Better than words, we leave you an overview below.
As a reminder, mods are currently only available on PC. Cyberpunk 2077 is available for PS5, Xbox Series, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The Phantom Liberty DLC is only available for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
