Game news Cyberpunk 2077: Keanu Reeves thanks people who tried to sleep with him
In a filmed interview with The Verge, Keanu Reeves spoke about the movie Matrix Resurrections, but also about its relationship with video games and virtual reality.
The header video is the JV Daily for Jan 28, 2021. It echoes what CD Projekt said after releasing a mod that would allow Cyberpunk 2077 gamers to sleep with the character of Keanu Reeves.
“It’s affection”
Last Friday, Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss attended the Game Awards ceremony for the release of The Matrix Awakens. This app is a demo version of Unreal Engine 5, the game engine from Epic Games that features the power of the two leading Matrix players.
Following this presentation, the media were able to interview The Verge Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss. If this filmed interview is mostly about The Matrix, then at the end of the sequence it is about video games, and more specifically Cyberpunk 2077. Keanu Reeves admits he didn’t play the game in which he gives his facial features Johnny Silverhand
It’s always nice when it’s nice. It’s affection.
A mod that CD Projekt didn’t like
An enthusiasm that quickly faded when the journalist informed him that this mod (modification of the game by players) had been withdrawn by CD Projekt Red, the developers of Cyberpunk 2077. Back then, they urged players to respect non-playable characters inspired by real people and encourage them to “refrain from using them in situations that might be considered offensive
Since then, the mod allowed the player to change the appearance of a prostitute: therefore, players could indirectly sleep with the character of Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk 2077. And when the Matrix actor responds positively to this initiative, he seems to be terrified of the possibilities offered by the intersection of virtual reality and pornography.
