A Cyberpunk 2077 modder who made it possible for PC players to enjoy in-game romance in V’s apartment (long before CD Projekt added its own romantic party feature in Update 2.1) says that after seeing With something similar to their work, they felt flattered to officially implement it.

Now, in an interview with Nexus Mods, Wright has shared their feelings about the feature in the game, revealing that overall they were “flattered” and gained “a sense of recognition and accomplishment” from it.
“All of my mods start with an idea/design and then I try to turn it into a mod that people might like, so seeing CDPR officially implement something so close to my original idea and people loving it, It’s very satisfying,” said the modder, adding: “It must be a good idea.”
Wright also revealed a bit about the work that has helped them become almost the only modders capable of making quest mods for Cyberpunk.
