Cyberpunk 2077: New patch 1.23 available

Cyberpunk 2077 returns to PlayStation Store on Monday after a long period of starvation. Before that there is a new patch that has certainly contributed to this.

The repair work on Cyberpunk 2077 is progressing slowly but surely. CD Projekt RED has released another patch with the version number 1.23, just in time for it to be relaunched in the PlayStation Store on June 21st. The new update fixes a number of quest bugs, but also various technical problems, especially with regard to crashes and console CPUs have been fixed.

Here is the list of all the changes:

Quests & Open World

Space Oddity

  • Fixed a bug that caused the “Open Package” destination to sometimes change location.

Mission: family matters

  • Fixed a bug that caused Juliet’s car to disappear upon visual contact after the quest was completed.
  • Fixed a streaming issue in Juliet’s house.
  • Fixed a bug that made it impossible to enter Juliet’s house if players did not meet any of the attribute requirements.

The coup

  • Fixed a bug that caused Jackie to walk through glass.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented some guards from attacking the player.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the “Search the Arasaka Officer” objective to remain active even though it was fulfilled.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the ‘Mech from spawning in the lobby.
  • Fixed a bug that caused some Arasaka guards to clip through the door.
  • Fixed a bug that caused some guards to spawn in front of the player.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Arasaka officer’s corpse to be inaccessible, preventing players from capturing the splinter and thus not being able to advance in the story.

The nomad

  • Unnecessary prompts have been removed.

The Hunt

  • The news segment in Rivers Splitter now plays the audio correctly.

The Beast in Me

  • Fixed a bug that sometimes caused progress to be blocked if players left Claire too early after the race in Santo Domingo.

Queen of the Highway

  • Fixed a bug that caused the basilisk to clip through some trees.

Down on the Street

  • A bug has been fixed that caused the conversation with Wakako not to have quest-related dialog options.

Forward to Death

  • Smoke and dust no longer flicker when steering the basilisk.

  • Fixed a bug that caused progress to be blocked after Bruce was rescued when players called the Delamain.

Path of Glory

  • Fixed a bug that caused players to get stuck in the AV if they were at the landing site before it arrived.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the fixer’s car to sometimes go straight across the intersection instead of turning right.
  • A bug has been fixed which caused the request to use the coolant on 8ug8ear to appear even after removing the link, which sometimes led to the destruction of the animation.
  • Fixed a bug that made 8ug8ear impossible to pick up.
  • Fixed a bug that caused NPCs to spawn underground, blocking progress.
