Cyberpunk 2077 still remains one of the most beautiful games of recent years, bordering on photorealism with some great additional additions.
While development on Cyberpunk 2077 appears to be complete, CD Projekt RED is now focusing on The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2, Night City never sleeps. Many modders further refine the already excellent plastic of the dystopian role-playing game. This 8K video from YouTube channel NextGen Dreams shows us one of the gourmet mods currently available for the game.
Drive more realistically than ever before in Cyberpunk 2077
Thanks to NVIDIA technologies like DLSS, Ray Tracing and Path Tracing, Cyberpunk 2077 is already graphically excellent for those who can afford it, even four years after its release. However, certain mods push the problem further by moving the sliders even further. This is particularly the case with the DreamPunk 2.1 mod.
The aim is to completely overhaul the graphical configurations, lighting, light diffusion, saturation and many other parameters in Cyberpunk 2077 to achieve a truly stunning result. NextGen Dreams treats us to a “showcase” video that shows what the mod has in its belly. And some shots frankly border on photorealism, as you can see below.
Of course, taking full advantage of Cyberpunk 2007 and even more so with DreamPunk 2.1 requires a real PC racing beast. In this case, the YouTube channel has armed itself with a monstrous machine, notably supported by an RTX 4090, a processor and state-of-the-art RAM. So you have to stretch your nerves to treat yourself to such an impressive trip to the Night City or the City of Dreams as it is also called. It definitely makes you wonder what Cyberpunk 2 could do on Unreal Engine 5. But unfortunately, we probably won’t hear about the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 for many years.
