Cyberpunk 2077 should have been available soon, but CD Projekt RED decided to move it from April to September for five months. After all: The team has meanwhile taken another step until the release.

CD Projekt RED has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 has now successfully taken another step towards the release. Although the longed-for gold status could not yet be announced, which is not surprising given the release in September, the long-awaited sci-fi title has now reached the playtesting phase.
The intensive test runs, which should result in various bug fixes and optimizations, also go hand in hand with the fact that the title has now been submitted to the responsible authorities for the allocation of age ratings. This also reduces the risk that we could possibly have another postponement of the release date.
We just submitted @cyberpunkgame to age rating agencies around the world (PEGI, ESRB, etc.). While we wait for the game to get rated, we work on polishing technical aspects and playtesting it. Game is looking better and better with each passing day!

Among other things, the ESRB and the European PEGI are said to have received a corresponding version of Cyberpunk 2077 in order to be able to issue an age recommendation. It is not uncommon for such classifications to cause further leaks, because these sometimes include some information that has not yet been officially communicated and that has led to a certain rating. Such platforms have also leaked new platforms for well-known titles.

According to the makers, Cyberpunk 2077 "looks better and better every day"; in the playtesting phase you will concentrate on the fine-tuning in relation to "technical aspects".
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on September 17, 2020 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Stadia and GeForce Now. A free upgrade to Cyberpunk 2077 for the Xbox Series X has also been announced.
