CD Projekt Red revealed the redesigned Cyberpunk 2077 version of the default heroine today.
The developer tagged this year's International Women's Day in a tweet today with a slightly updated female protagonist showing the default protagonist, new face and red hair.
CD Projekt responded to commenters' inquiries about the game's reversible boxed art, answering "####### WomensDay".

The female design of the protagonist V was first unveiled during E3 2018-when she had brown hair, slightly soft facial design and dark eye makeup.
In contrast, reversible box art now shows new redheaded work and fresh faces. Of course, once in the game, players can customize V's body type, sound, and overall appearance.
As we reported last year, Cyberpunk 2077 will feature a genderless character creation system-a tribute to the themes of transhumanism and identity integration into the gaming world, and a response to the early cyberpunk male / female critical response Many claim that the character creation system is neither progressive nor inclusive.
"Compared to the last presentation, our character creation menu now gives you more options," said senior concept artist Marthe Jonkers in 2019.
"For example, you no longer choose a gender. Instead of choosing" I want to be a female or male character, "you choose a body type. Because we want you to feel free to create any character you want.
"So you choose your body type, we have two voices, one is a male voice and the other is a female voice. You can mix and match. You can connect them at will."
The game will be released for PC, PS4, Stadia and Xbox One on September 17. If you want to get started quickly, check out our complete Cyberpunk 2077 Getting Started Manual.
