A new DAB+ program ensemble goes on air in Hamburg this Thursday. 11 stations are there at the start, there are a total of 12 places. One is reserved for special occasions.

The variety of digital radio programs in Germany’s largest Hanseatic city will grow by eleven DAB+ stations on Thursday. These include 89.0 RTL, bigFM, ByteFM, JAM FM, nice, Ostseewelle, Radio Bollerwagen, Radio Nordseewelle, Radio Lübeck 88.5, Radio Paradiso, Radio TEDDY and a slot for a temporary event radio.
Innovation Event-Radio
Those responsible are particularly proud of this last-named slot. After all, it represents an innovation that has never existed before in the German digital radio landscape. Hamburg-specific events such as the Port Birthday or the Reeperbahn Festival are cited by the operator Media Broadcast as examples of use.
Four more DAB+ stations announced
The number of programs that you can receive in the Hanseatic city via DAB+ increases to around 65 with the new program ensemble. The successive activation of the four programs HarbourTownRadio, lounge plus, pure fm and a new program from Regiocast GmbH on the initially according to media broadcast information, free places will take place in the coming months.
Reception of already existing programs improves
