FromSoftware plans to restore its online services dark soul Game is fast.
That’s according to a statement the company sent to PC Gamer when asked how things were going.
Each game will “gradually” restore its servers until Dark Souls 3 is back online.
“We are currently restoring the online servers for the PC version of the Dark Souls series,” the studio said. “We plan to gradually restore online service for each game, and will restore Dark Souls 3’s servers once we have done the necessary work to correct the problem.” “Once the fix is finalized, we will provide more updates. We would like to thank The patience and understanding of all players as we work to resolve this issue.”
Servers for the series went offline in January to ensure a security breach in the series would not affect Elden Ring.
Those servers have been taken offline due to an apparent security breach, which could allow hackers to take over someone else’s computer through remote code execution. Because Elden Ring uses the same networking code, it faces the same vulnerabilities.
FromSoftware identified the cause after drawing attention and working to fix the problem.
