Darktide is now the Warhammer dream it was always meant to be!

Darktide, Dream, meant, Warhammer

Shortly before release on November 30, 2022, Darktide almost looked like an absolute Warhammer 40k dream. A massive 40k shooter with co-op, cool classes and developers who understand the lore. The trailers looked really cool and Vermintide 2, the quasi-predecessor, was so good – Darktide could actually only be awesome. Warhammer 40k Darktide in the test: This shooter is the (War) hammer! Yes, and then it came out. At first I was really happy – until after a few hours of playing I noticed that Darktide was massively lacking in content, a long-term motivating progression curve and a story – almost half the game. But of course the in-game shop worked. Great. On top of that, Space Marine 2 is happily being postponed! At least in the action area, the disciples of the God-Emperor are left high and dry. Space Marine 2 played: You don’t like Warhammer 40,000? Does not matter! Until now! Because after almost a year and a half and lots of updates, I’m now showing you why Darktide has finally broken its chains and is increasingly becoming the action spectacle that Warhammer fans have always wanted.
