Dead by Daylight has some great things in the pipeline to delight its community this summer, including surprises and a highly anticipated content update.
Dead by Daylight, the popular multiplayer horror game, continues to evolve this month with significant updates and additions. Celebrating its eighth anniversary, the game promises to keep players interested with exciting new features and content. We were able to attend a small preview of the upcoming product news. It looks pretty crazy.
Dead by Daylight invites you… Lara Croft
The big news this month is the introduction of Lara Croft in Fog of Dead by Daylight. Known as the ultimate video game survivor, Lara brings her unique skills to the game. Although she lacks her iconic weapons, her new abilities – Finesse, Tenacity, and Specialist – highlight her abilities as an athlete, adventurer, and archaeologist. Players can now add Lara Croft to their survival team.
Equipped with keen instincts, Lara Croft can spot generators, chests and totems at a far greater distance than other survivors. Her skills as an archaeologist allow her to analyze clues much faster, unlocking valuable bonuses for herself and her allies. Finally, his mastery of survival gives him the unparalleled ability to hide from killers and escape their clutches.
A highly anticipated mode
But that’s not all. The highly anticipated 2v8 game mode will be available from July 25th. This mode revolutionizes the gaming experience by allowing two Killers to team up to hunt down eight Survivors. Classic maps have been expanded to accommodate this hectic action, and new game mechanics, such as cages for downed Survivors and a class system, enrich this temporary mode, which is available until August 8th. Perfect for adding some extra excitement during the summer.
This mode offers a completely new game dynamic and increases the difficulty and intensity of the matches. The killers must now work together strategically to deal with a larger number of survivors, while the survivors must work together as a team to escape two predators. This gameplay innovation renews the gaming experience and offers even more exciting gaming moments.
Starting July 22, cross-platform progression will finally be available. This feature will allow players to sync their progress and purchases across all the platforms they play on. All you need is a Behavior account and the base game on each platform.
