the next chapter dead by daylight Introduce sci-fi horror to action horror games with a new map and killers on the loose.
The next chapter takes place on a mysterious planet with the remains of an ancient civilization. The map, called “End Transmission,” is a unique biome with menacing flora in which the Singularity lurks.
This monster, reassembled from organic matter and machine parts, seeks to absorb all organic life and become a perfect life form.
An enlightened artificial intelligence corrupted by alien technology, the Singularity can spy on survivors anywhere on the map, has high intelligence, and can broadcast its presence through reorganized organic matter with the help of its BioPods.
The Singularity can be placed on vertical surfaces and can transfer its consciousness onto BioPods to spy on survivors and attempt to slipstream them to terraform themselves in their place. The slipstream effect enables the Singularity to emerge behind the survivors and immediately begin the chase. A fully slipstreamed Survivor will spread the effect to other nearby Survivors. You need to rethink your strategy, as the power of the singularity can upend cooperation.
More dangers lurk on the planet and Toba lands. The new map consists of three distinct areas. One is a building left behind by a greedy corporation called the Huxlee, the second is an ominous jungle, and the third contains some remnants of an ancient civilization.
With this chapter comes a new survivor, Gabriel Soma, a technician who has survived the Singularity to this day, avoiding the gruesome fate of his teammates.
Gabriel is dexterous, using a tool called an EMP and randomly positioned around the map when facing the Singularity. EMP can be used to temporarily disable the Killer’s BioPods or remove other survivors’ Slipstream effects.
End Transmission also brought two alien costumes for The Singularity and Gabriel. Singularity’s Huxlee Hybrid Cosmetic shows more of the robotic substance being absorbed into his body, while Gabriel’s EVA Suit cosmetic has him donning protective gear.
Additional collections will be available following the launch of End Transmission, including the new Waterfront Massacre Skin, Twisted Masquerade Skin, and the Futuristic Collection.
End Transmission launches June 13 for PS5, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It will be available on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Windows Store.
A new survivor has been added to the mix and it’s Nicolas Cage. The award-winning actor will step into the fog as himself, and you can learn more about his inclusion next month on July 5th.
