Game news Dead Space: a remake of the license formalized by Electronic Arts
A month ago, during the EA Play Live event, we discussed the possible return of an old publisher’s intellectual property. What began as mere statements by journalist Jeff Grubb, confirmed by Eurogamer, has become a reality tonight.
As the Venture Beat reporter suggested at the time, in words that left little room for doubt about the license that was about to make its comeback, Dead Space will actually come to the fore again.
So, EA Motive teams to revive Isaac Clarke’s space and horror adventures for the first game developed entirely by the studio, Main protagonist of the franchise, after a stalemate that has lasted since 2013 and a third numbered episode geared towards action rather than survival horror.
The trailer, very succinct, gives us the time to see corridors that are still so gloomy, sticky and bloody.. And in view of the restless silhouettes and the surrounding noises, the atmosphere is as eerie as ever.
Not much was shown in this short excerpt, but like the shot where we see Isaac Clarke regaining his health, We imagine the series has taken the time to recharge its batteries to be in proper shape on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC to present. No release date has been communicated at the moment.
When, as the saying goes, nobody hears us screaming in space, Bet fans screams of joy over the return of survival horror will be heard during this surprise announcement during EA Play Live.
