A few days ago, the list of trophies for Dead Space Remastered was also revealed, and with it came some interesting revelations. First and foremost, achieving platinum in Dead Space is no easy feat by any means. You need to finish the game on the hardest difficulty and then do it again in New Game Plus.
On top of that, you’ll also need to upgrade each weapon and kill dozens of enemies with each weapon. Oh, and don’t forget, you’ll also need to dismember a lot of limbs.
What’s fascinating, however, is the achievement titled “Reunion,” which reveals that Dead Space will have an alternate ending. EA and developer Motive Studio didn’t mention this, but it’s in the trophy list, so we can only assume the ending itself was a surprise.
The achievement wasn’t available in the original game, so it’s an extra to look forward to for Dead Space fans this coming weekend.
If you haven’t pre-ordered the game yet, you can score yourself a great deal on Steam. Those who pre-order Dead Space will also get access to Dead Space 2 for free, so you can keep busy long after you’ve raced to collect all those trophies.
