Announced during EA Play Live 2021, the sci-fi classic survival horror game is returning as a remake, completely rebuilt from the ground up. It was developed exclusively for next-gen consoles and PC, with updated visuals, audio and controls using the Frostbite engine.
With the remake, you can expect improved story, characters, game mechanics, and more as you fight for survival aboard the mining starship USG Ishimura.
In Dead Space, you play as engineer Isaac, who is tasked with repairing a ship called the USG Ishimura. After getting on the ship, you discover that the crew of the ship has been slaughtered and infected with some kind of natural disaster. On top of that, his partner Nicole got lost somewhere on the boat.
Using only your tools and engineering skills, you’ll need to unravel the mysteries of what happened to Ishimura, while dealing with terrifying creatures and your own declining sanity.
