"Dead Strand" is a new game launched by Hideo Kojima, creator of Metal Gear, and the first game since he separated from development studio Konami. The game was initially available only on PS4 and will appear as a PC version in the summer of 2020.

Dead stranded: PC version will launch in summer 2020
"Dead Stranded" was originally intended as the exclusive title for PS4 [Release Date: November 8, 2019]. More surprisingly, Kojima also announced the PC version of "Dead Strand" in October 2019.
According to developer studio 505 Games, starting June 2, 2020, PC players will have the opportunity to experience an apocalyptic adventure. Then the PC version of Dead Strand will appear on Steam and Epic Games Store. Compared to the PS4 version, it still offers a range of bonus content.
Explicit mention of integrated photo mode, higher frame rate and technical improvements. For all "Half-Life" fans, the developers also packed a hat in the form of a crab. The protagonist Crab is a famous opponent of the protagonist Gordon Freeman.
Google Stadia may also be stranded. This image, released by developer Hideo Kojima in July 2019, illustrates this point. It shows that Google Games head Jade Raymond visited the Death Stranding developer studio. So far, neither the developer nor Sony has commented on these rumors.
Diverse gameplay and dark atmosphere
The typical island, the way the game of "Dead Strand" is difficult to categorize as a typical genre. Still, developers describe their work as action games with an open world. Kojima announced on Twitter in June 2019 that the death stranding will create a new genre, the "Social Stranding System" game.

For faster delivery in the open world, you can also use vehicles in the game. This includes, for example, futuristic motorcycles. Also, the game has very few screen displays, but you have an inventory. This way you can manage your luggage and organize it separately on each trip. However, where and what you store and what you carry around can affect running behavior, character balance, and control.
The gameplay alternates between calm and dynamic stages. Sometimes you travel through a lonely large area in the stranded world of death without anything happening; sometimes you have to fight in enemy camps, and sometimes you have to prove that you have behaved in the difficult battle of superiors. You can choose from multiple difficulty levels, one of which ["Very Simple Mode"] is especially suitable for casual gamers. This makes it easy for them to play game stories and experience stories.
Multiplayer games require "global collaboration"
There is no classic single-player or multiplayer division in Death Strand. Instead, each player basically goes through the adventure alone. However, you can leave items in the game world for other players to use, and even ask for help from others in difficult battles. DLC hints at mysterious tweets
Death stranding should be done with the main game. However, in February 2020, a mysterious tweet from actor Nicolas Winding Refn, portraying the heart man in Death Strand, sparked speculation. Then you can see him with Kojima. The text in the middle is: "Heartman wants to return".
Developers have not commented on this tweet and have not confirmed DLC. However, there is little chance of continuing to open the world of games. You can then expect Refn to refer to a possible next generation version of Death Stranding, or just the PC version.
